Welcome to the 2008 Baldock Festival - our 25th
Anniversary
 |
|
We are pleased to
introduce the programme for the 2008 Baldock Festival
fortnight, running from
Friday 2 to Sunday 18 May 2008. Much
lies in store! Walks, including a new Ghost Walk, talks including a look at
the Coronation Celebrations of 1953, concerts, including a Jazz Spectacular,
are all in the programme to celebrate Baldock Festival’s 25th anniversary.
|
With over 50 events and activities
offering a range of music and dancing, food and drink,
treasure hunts, guided walks, quizzes and competitions, this
year's Festival looks set to offer something for everyone!
There's also Baldock Festival's first Beer
Festival, Mystery Tours and two - yes, two - wine tastings! |

Simply click on a date
link on the left to view a particular day's planned events- and
have your diary handy! You can also see all the events
at-a-glance. If there are any last
minute changes to the programme, you will find details
here.
Of course, no Baldock Festival would be complete
without our ever popular
Street Fair and Craft Market on Saturday 17th May.
This year's Street Fair continues last year's Medieval
theme. In addition to the Morris Day of Dance and Craft Market,
we'll have a mini Medieval ‘village’, including craftspeople and
re-enactors demonstrating their skills. |
|
|
|
For the children, as well as the jester and medieval
knights, there will be fairground rides
(traditional, but 21st century!).
The Street Fair will offer plenty of opportunity for both
adults and children to join in and take part, so promises to be a fun day
for all!
